First time to try this place, and it was amazing! Started with cheese fries that did not disappoint, followed by wings. The boneless, sweet chili wings are seriously the best I've eaten, and are HUGE. The service was friendly and food was fast. The place was clean and welcoming and we will definitely revisit the next time we are in the mood for some wings!

Driving up from Austin to Fort Worth I assumed there’d be no place to grab lunch. My wife found the Tipsy Lion on the map and a review read “pleasantly surprised”. So with that review and a bit of skepticism we turned off the Highway into West, Texas for lunch. And we are very pleasantly surprised. The menu is largely wings (with nearly two dozen choices of coatings) and burgers but they also have a respectable salad menu and the Street Tacos were also good. The five star rating because of the remote location and “other than chicken fried” menu that is the staple of most Texas farming communities. It is good bar food. And they have a well stocked bar behind an authentic looking (at least) bar that runs the length of the establishment. “Pleasantly surprised” sums this establishment up well. For you antique shoppers there’s several stores next door that look worthy of your time. If you are unaware - West was the sight of a horrific explosion at the fertilizer plant in the last decade that would have decimated many communities. The tragic loss of life and industry (not to mention nearly flattening an elementary school) was great. But West appears to have rebounded and is a community worthy of support as well.

The staff are wonderful, they are kind and patient, they do their best to make sure their customers are satisfied. The food here is delicious, I came here for lunch and got me a quarter pound cheeseburger with curly fries, and I also came here on a Saturday and tried their breakfast and that too was pretty good, I do enjoy the old fashioned style of breakfast, reminds me of a restaurant I used to visit for breakfast quite a bit when I was Vancouver WA, old style and the breakfast tasted the same. I do recommend this restaurant to anyone as I'll be coming back soon to this restaurant. Additional info: The money I spent here is about 10-20 bucks for each individual meal.

We enjoyed an afternoon of day drinking and they can make anything you want. Plus I had the boneless wings, FABULOUS!!! REAL CHUNKS OF CHICKEN not frozen. They were amazing

So good! We stopped here when our usual West restaurant was closed. Such a good boy of fortune! The Bavarian pretzel was hot, soft, and loaded with melted butter and salt and delish beer cheese! (Such a bonus that it was an half off appetizer!) I had the buffalo chicken sandwich... Tender and crispy with Nashville hot sauce and a cheddar jalapeno bun. Yum! And don't forget the curly fries! Definitely a great stop! Prompt and courteous service from Amber!

Started with the spinach dip, very tasty. Main course, chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. Gravy was perfect, good chunk of meat. Dessert, was chocolate cream pie. Also delicious. Very friendly staff! Highly recommended!

I try boneless wings everywhere I go....including different states. These are definitely the best boneless wings I've had. The salad I had was cold and crisp with homemade ranch! I always get parmesan garlic, and this time, I tried the sweet asian. You have to try the wings if you go to Tipsy!!!!
